DDR Training

The Integrated DDR Standards (IDDRS) provides the base for training on DDR. To develop and deliver training courses in order to meet the increasing need for highly qualified DDR practioners, the Integrated DDR Training Group (IDDRTG) was established in July 2006.

To this end the IDDRTG will:

• Cooperate to build and strengthen capacities for DDR training and education through open, collaborative and collegial information sharing, networking and communication
• Share IDDRS-based and related training material and resources and honour the terms on which they are provided by the owners
• Harmonize and synchronize training dates to the extent possible
• Coordinate, develop and maintain a broad range of DDR training courses
• Mutually recognize various levels of training courses

IDDRS Training Modules

The Integrated DDR Standards (IDDRS) provides the basis for training on DDR. The United Nations welcomes and encourages that trainers use the IDDRS for DDR and DDR related training. Power Point slides for each module of IDDRS are available for trainers of DDR course.
